The Responsible Person acts as a spokesperson for the contractor regarding effective and safe traffic control; coordinates with the legal authority on all events; serves as liaison with the governing body to implement traffic control plans, changes, strategic plans; and fulfills the obligation to see everything goes according to the Millennium Edition Federal MUTCD, your individual respective States MUTCD and/or your local city/county MUTCD
The contractor must train, train, and retrain the Responsible Person to work with the governmental body or official having jurisdiction in the work area.
